Welcome to Shoemaker Farms!
I started out with goats and rabbits as pets and 4H project, and things have only grown as I endeavor to raise them both as functional livestock, as well as show quality livestock that will improve their respective breeds and raise the bar. Right now I maintain a herd of goats and rabbits and plan on utilizing line breeding to improve as I feel that is the only way to set specific traits into my animals. I am not active in shows, however showing is not out of the question in the future. If you have any questions regarding my goats, rabbits or soap, don't hesitate to contact me.
God bless, Shoemaker Farms Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and attend to your herds; for riches are not forever, nor does a crown endure to all generations. When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself, and the herbs of the mountains are gathered in, the lambs will provide your clothing, and the goats the price of a field; You shall have enough goats’ milk for your food, for the food of your household, and the nourishment of your maidservants. Proverbs 27:23-27

As of spring 2015, we are going to be dam raising all of our goat kids. If you are wanting kid(s) from us to be bottled and/or raised on CAE prevention, contact us before they are born and plan on making a deposit.
